How do I join the team?
Please fill out this form and hit submit to get things started. We will send you an invitation to join NICA Pit Zone where you can pay the League and NICA fees, and sign all of the required waivers to begin practicing with us.
Who can join the team?
The team is open to all students in grades 6th through 12th who attend the Menomonee Falls School District.
How much does it cost?
$50 Annual NICA Membership
$75 WI League Membership
$75/Race Registration Fee ($300 Season Pass) *optional
$20 Annual SDMF Activity Fee
$100 Annual Club Dues (may be offset by fundraising)
$70 Team Jersey (required to race)

What are practices like?
Riders of all levels are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Practices focus on skill development, safe bike handling, and endurance and fitness. Consistent participation is strongly encouraged as it will build confidence and ability to successfully race/ride trails. Remember, you get out what you put in.
When/where do you practice?
Our season generally runs July through October. Our first practice for the season will be Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Weekday practices (M*, Tu, Th) are typically at Rotary Park or Menomonee Park between 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. As the season progresses, the start and end times for practice will be adjusted to account for changes in daylight.
We also have Saturday trail rides between 9:00 AM and Noon at MTB trails typically within an hour's drive of Menomonee Falls.

What equipment do I need to participate?
Required
Well maintained and mechanically sound mountain bike **
Helmet
Team jersey (if racing)
Water bottles and/or hydration pack
Bike pump and basic repair tools

Do I have to race?
No. Our focus is on youth development rather than talent identification, but we do encourage athletes to consider trying to race. Practices are designed to be fun, but also support athletes should they choose to compete. We compete in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League, which is a chapter organization of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).

NICA Agreement To Participate/Release Of Liability Waiver?
If you are not practice ready or would like to ride with the team, please follow the link below to fill out a ONE TIME waiver, after which you will have to register in Pit Zone and pay all of the associated NICA, League, and Team fees.
